The Adventures of Azimaka

So... I'm not sure how many of you know this, but I'm really really into The Elder Scrolls series. I started with Skyrim, and have since gotten Oblivion too. I would probably try to get Morrowind if I knew where to find it. And... yeah. I've had the time of my life with these games. Fantasy? Deep interesting lore? Wide open world? Anthro cats?! SIGN ME UP!

This is my main character in Skyrim, a Khajiit Theif-turned-Warrior named Azimaka. Her story is that, growing up around other khajiit with no regards for man and their "foolish concepts", she was taught that being a khajiit meant having no regard for others' happiness and looking out for number one. Naturally she became a theif, spending most of her childhood robbing people and fighting to survive on the street. She eventually came to Skyrim, running from the troubles of her past, as usual

But she happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and got carted off to Helgen with a bunch of Stormcloaks. Her near-death experience there made her rethink her life choices. So one day she found herself at the Companions' doorstep, asking to let them teach her how to be an honorable warrior. Since then, she has come a long way and learned that true happiness is found in giving, rather than taking. (That said, she's still a bit greedy, and you should hide your sweet rolls if she's around) And she has also discovered her destiny as the Dragonborn, and as the Harbinger of the Companions.

Azimaka finds great joy in every single quest she goes on. She becomes just as exited about running a fetch-quest as she does about delving into a dangerous dwemer ruin in search of ancient secrets. No quest is beneath her. If it helps someone, it all worth it.

Unfortunately, Azimaka has become addicted to mead after coming to Skyrim. She never goes anywhere without a few pints in her pack. Often, when she anticipates that a big fight is coming up, she will chug down some mead and in her tipsy state, she will actually fight better than when she was sober.

As you can see here, her BFF is Marcurio. They met in Riften back when she was a thief, and ever since then he has accompanied her on many adventures. These days he hangs out at her house in Falkreath, acting as the steward and being Uncle to her adopted daughters, Lucia and Sophie.

Adventure Update: Sep. 2013

Azimaka has continued her adventures as the Dragonborn. She is now married to Farkas. She waited a long time before expressing her feelings because she wasn't sure if Farkas would feel the same. Especially about a Khajiit. It's extremely rare for the beast races to marry humans after all. But she decided to confess to him after he nearly got killed in a Dwemer Ruin while adventuring with her. She's begun to considder buying Breezehome so that she and her family can live closer to Jorvaskr.

She has also joined the Stormcloak Rebellion. Originally she had chosen to stay out of the world, but recent events have made her decide that it's important to bring an end to this war. She doesn't want her children to grow up in a land plagued by war. She joined them mainly because she has a deeply seeded hatred for the Thalmor's ways. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, so she chose to assist the Stormcloaks because the empire is too busy kissing the Thalmor's ass. Since joining, she has earned the Ulfric's respect, and although she does not agree with everything he does, she respects him too.

...That said, I think that when the day comes that she ends the war, she will be filled with doubts about whether she made the right decision.
